~ It was bitterly cold out this morning. She'd awoken once again to a snow-covered forest, with the trees coated in ice and the air frigid. It wasn't the powdery kind of snow; no, it was solid and icy - snapping and crunching underpaw. Vaiyalhi didn't like it, but at least it didn't stick to her as much as the softer stuff did. Still, she was so cold. Her fur was thick, and of medium length, but it wasn't enough to keep her warm. She trekked through the woods, her head low and tail tucked, wondering if she'd have to go the day without food again. The thought of warm prey made her drool.
Exhaling, she pushed past a stiff clump of frozen brambles and peered around, her ears twitching to the faint noises. The forest was quiet aside from the occasional clatt
